چکیده

Stronger oscillations in the local Earth magnetic field may have an impact on course of ischemic heart disease. This effect is individual for every person and depends sex, age, living territory, season, capability to adjust fluctuations health status. Individuals who already cardiovascular disease are more sensitive fluctuations, therefore further research needed make conclusions. Aim: To identify correlations between changes frequencies patients with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) non-ST (NSTEMI) cases per week, by sex week patients’ blood laboratory parameters (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol Troponin I level). Methods: A retrospective study 1667 patients, were admitted Hospital Lithuanian University Health Sciences Kaunas Clinics 1st January 31st December 2019 due acute coronary syndrome (STEMI NSTEMI), included study. Local Earth's time varying (TVMF) was measured a magnetometer located Baisogala, Lithuania. Data from collected daily, weekly averaged. We assessed average geomagnetic strength six different frequency ranges (Hz) number STEMI NSTEMI Results: The presence stronger range 32-65 Hz significantly related group during winter season (r= 0.583, p= 0.036). Tendency towards positive correlation found men's high Hz. Low-density level correlated positively range, autumn 0-7 Conclusion: Increased associated higher group.

ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Background—In the United States, efforts are underway to improve timely access to percutaneous coronary intervention in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). The Joint Commission (TJC) and the American College of Cardiology National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) have developed standardized definitions and clinical performance measures for STEMI. The purpose of this study was to dete...

Mistaken ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction.

A 66-year-old female was transferred from an outside hospital for possible ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). The patient reported feeling poorly for the last day, with epigastric pain, nausea, and multiple episodes of vomiting. Patient’s medical history was significant for diabetes mellitus, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and multiple sclerosis. Electrocardiogram (EKG) was...

opposed to the medically treated patients. The current guidelines also indicate that the GRACE score should be used as a tool in making this decision, and I think this study shows that surgery does provide a better outcome for patients, particularly in the higher risk groups with a GRACE-predicted score of over 10%. And the current guidelines recommend reintervention for patients with a predict...

Tombstoning ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Tombstoning ST elevation myocardial infarction can be described as a STEMI characterized by tombstoning ST-segment elevation. This myocardial infarction is associated with extensive myocardial damage, reduced left ventricle function, serious hospital complications and poor prognosis. Tombstoning ECG pattern is a notion beyond morphological difference and is associated with more serious clinical...
